This was a perfect place for our family to stay while visiting extended family for Thanksgiving! Highly recommend

We really loved being close to the beach. The house was sparkly clean. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard. The kitchen has the essentials. Only thing that would be a lovely addition would be salt/pepper/oil available. Beautiful island and wonderful family trip

We loved our stay! We came with another family it was the perfect setup. The space was clean, cozy and updated, had everything we needed. The location was great, a quick walk to the beach access. Host was responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

We visited this place for a much-needed getaway & felt right at home the moment we arrived. Great for multi- families (used to be two duplexes- beautifully remodeled and a whole unit now) my husband & our two kids stayed in one side of the home & my father, stepmother, sister & boyfriend stayed on the other side. We loved the fenced in backyard for our black lab, and the amazing kitchens fully stocked with literally anything we needed. We’ve never been so pleased with how well the kitchen was stocked when down to trash bags/laundry detergent. Beds were comfortable, minor issues with the door on the outside deck staying open due to wind damage & a little hot with not much shade out back. Quick effortless walk to the beach & a bit further of a walk for the sound access. Absolutely wonderful & just what we needed. Thank you it SHORE was fun!

Awesome rental! A duplex rented as one was the best for our family and two dogs. Fenced in yard was a bonus! Very responsive host, clean place, we felt right at home. It is literally a 2 min. walk to the beach! Nice new kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, utensils. Having the linens provided was a big plus and a TV in each room was great! Would definitely rent this place again :)

My entire family stayed at Shore is Fun: Two teenagers, 4 adults, 1 baby, 1 toddler, and a 2nd grader. The place was perfect! Having the two sides allowed us to have a quiet side for remote working during the day (the Wi-Fi was great!) and a loud side for the littles and the teenagers. The place was well stocked for large family meals with everything that we needed to prepare and serve food. The dishwashers made cleanup super easy. Everything was labeled so that we knew where to put the dishes away, which was super helpful with a large group! Super close walk to the beach was perfect for the littles and we rented beach cruisers from Bryan at Beach Wheels for the teenagers so that they could take a short bike ride into shopping and the pier. (Bryan was also awesome, so if you need beach rentals, find him on google. We rented beach chairs and umbrellas from him as well.) 10/10 would recommend and am hoping to be back next year!

Very pleased with our stay! This was our first time here and grateful to have found this home. It had everything we needed and even more than we expected. The exterior of the house makes it seem like a normal house but once you go inside it’s very beautiful and clean. The walk to the beach was no more than 5 minutes (we had kids and grandpa). Definitely recommend this place and the hosts were quick to respond or give us a heads up for things.

This is probably the 8th time we have stayed at Shore Is Fun, and it has gotten even better. The new fridges, air fryer, and gas grill are great additions this time around. Great space for 2 small groups or one big one and the location can't be beat. Can't wait to come back!

Our extended family rented several properties from Shorewood Real Estate for a reunion. I stayed in Shore Is Fun, which I had stayed in other trips to Emerald Isle. It was perfect for our group. The deck is huge and can the property accommodate many people when entertaining. Oh yeah, the kitchen is stocked. I brought bar items that I thought would not be available for me, but to my surprise, they had the items I needed. Great trip.

This is just like staying in your own home (minus sheets and towels). Big porch, gas grill, tvs, fenced yard. I will definately come back.

This is the third time we have stayed in this house! It’s a perfect fit for our large family! The yard is perfect for games, super close to the beach, well-stocked! We’ll be back again!

Shore is fun is an older home but well maintained. The two sides made it great for my grandbaby to have privacy and somewhere quite to sleep. It was well stocked for a weeks stay and just a short walk to the beach.
